Dr. visit

We had another follow up appointment with the Oncologist today. He is very pleased with Michael's tolerance of the medication. The side effects have been bearable and mild compared to what some people experience. Michael's blood counts have been good, and is blood pressure seems to be coming down some since starting the break from the medicine. We even went to Applebee's for dinner tonight and Michael was able to eat nachos (the last time we went to eat at Tumbleweed, he had to send the food back because it hurt his mouth too much to eat. One oof the common side effects of the Sutent is sore mouth). Praying that this coming week is a good one.

On a positive note, I will start the Esther study at church on Tuesday mornings. Looking forward to what God wants me to learn through the study. I like being involved in Bible study. I like the disciplne and accountability it give me having to complete my homework each day to be prepared for discussion each week. Also, call me crazy, but there is something revitalizing about waking up at 4:30 a.m. to go to Bible study that starts at 6:30 a.m. It also makes me appreciate Michael's schedule more. He has to be at work every morning at 4:30 a.m.! Its a struggle for me to do it one one day a week.
