A New Year, A New Blog!!!

Lots of changes have happened this past year. A new hubby. A new home. A new struggle. A new diagnosis and new medicine. And now, a new blog! I have done the blogging in the past, but lately I have slacked off. A lot of people have had questions and wanted updates on how Michael is doing with the cancer. This will be my outlet to keep you all up to date with that, as well as my outlet to review, rave, rant, whatever I feel like writing about.

So, here is where we are. Michael finished the first round of Sutent. That is the medicine he is taking for the renal cancer. He gets a two week break between each round of the medicine to give his body a break and a chance to recover. The medicine is pretty rough on his system. He is at the end of the first week of the break. He was a trooper through the first round and make it to work everyday (minus a few days he missed before Christmas when he had pneumonia) despite feeling miserable some days..
